The short version: Farflung is a fully offline party game. It has no accounts, collects no personal data, and sends nothing off your device.
None. Farflung does not ask for a name, email, sign-in, or any personal information, and it contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising code. The friend profiles you create — a display name and a chosen avatar — are entered by you purely to keep score at your table.
Everything the game saves — friend profiles, past-round history, career stats, honors, and your settings — is stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. It never leaves the device, is never uploaded, and is not accessible to us or to anyone else.
The profiles and history you enter are used only to run the game and show your group's stats and past rounds. There is no other processing, and nothing is shared with third parties because nothing is transmitted at all.
Because all data is local, you are always in control. You can remove individual profiles or clear the entire history from within the game's settings, and deleting the app removes all of its stored data from your device permanently.
Farflung is a family-friendly party game suitable for general audiences. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
